Fisher & Paykel | Executive dinner

Fisher & Paykel have been designing household appliances for over 80 years. Their innovative designs and products specialising in kitchen and laundry appliances, have brought success upon the company that now operates in 50 countries worldwide.  The company prides itself on ‘on looking for innovation that changes the everyday into something out of the ordinary’ and this vision could clearly be seen in the brief given to Select Management.

Hosting a private dinner at The Sapphire Room in Auckland, Fisher & Paykel asked Select Management to transform the space into one that encapsulated New Zealand.  Select Management approached the brief with the pioneering spirit of the company and used food, drink, décor and traditional performances to engage all of the senses, in order to capture the essence of New Zealand.

The catering included some of the countries original and locally sourced dishes, accompanied with wines that explored some of New Zealand’s most famous wine regions including Hawkes Bay, Marlborough and Central Otago. Through the décor, Select Management was able to encompass the greenery that the country is renowned for,  filling the room with native flora to bring nature inside. Lastly, Select Management honoured some of New Zealand’s cultural heritage by incorporating performances including The Haka and Poi dances.

The perfect balance of tastes, smells and performances helped Select Management successfully transform The Sapphire Room from an open space, to one full of Kiwi life.
